Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

JPCHR is a fully open-access, DOAJ-indexed journal. Article Processing Charges (APCs) support the cost of editorial handling, independent peer review, copyediting and typesetting, DOI/Crossref registration, and the infrastructure that keeps every published article freely and permanently accessible. JPCHR does not charge any submission fee — APC applies only to manuscripts that are accepted for publication following peer review.

Currently, no Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable. The APC rates listed below will apply to manuscripts submitted on or after 1 January 2027.

International author policy — introductory waiver

For manuscripts submitted between 1 January 2027 and 31 December 2027, the APC is fully waived where the first author's affiliation is outside India, regardless of article type. This is an introductory measure to encourage international submissions as JPCHR builds its global readership.

This waiver will be reviewed before its expiry. From 1 January 2028, unless extended or revised, international submissions (first author affiliation outside India) will be charged the standard international rate, to be published separately at that time.

Payment terms

The APC becomes payable only after a manuscript is accepted following peer review, and before final publication. Invoices are issued by Anviksha Publisher and may be verified online at the invoice verification link provided with each invoice. APCs are non-refundable once an article has entered production, except where the journal is unable to publish the article for reasons attributable to the publisher.
